Johann Caspar vor der Hacke and Anna Elisabeth Lothmann were the parents of three children: Jobst Heinrich, Johann Heinrich and Hermann Heinrich vor der Hacke.

In 1776, Hermann Heinrich vor der Hacke married Anna Maria Lohmeier in Buer.  They were the parents of Johann Friedrich, Margaretha Ilsabein, Regine Maria, Ernst Heinrich and Catharina Ilsabein.  Anna Maria died on December 20, 1792, and Hermann Heinrich died in Markendorf on December 7, 1837.

Margaretha Ilsabein vor der Hacke married Johann Heinrich Uhlmannsiek in Buer on June 27, 1806, and they had six children.  Johann Heinrich died February 19, 1844, in Barkhausen.  Margaretha Ilsabein died April 16, 1849, in Eicken.

Buer (52.2472, 8.4020) is about 35 kilometers east of Osnabrück in northwestern Germany.  The city of Melle is about a 10-15 drive southwest of Buer.  Buer sits along the old Hannover-Westfalen border with the city of Rödinghausen just across the border.  Towns within the Buer Lutheran parish are: Barkhausen, Buer, Bulsten, Düingdorf, Eicken, Holzhausen, Husstädte, Löhlingdorf, Markendorf, Meesdorf, Sehlingdorf, Wehringdorf and Wetter.
